Oh dear I'm away for two weeks and this happens: the Corpses get collared for copyright infringement. I should image they've been told to take the site down or face prosecution.

“This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”

W. Churchill (Of the Battle of Egypt)

Work! Me! No, no, no Suii. I've been doing a bit of writing (as near as work as I go.)

I don't really know what's happened; I'm just guessing it's something to do with copyright. I could be wrong - there's always a first time. Ha.

I was looking forward to new features on TGP (the finished series), Baddiel's Syndrome, and the All New(?) 11OCS. Which we won't get to see now.

And I'll miss the new material on Brass Eye that was no doubt forthcoming. Inadvertently, the series has fallen even further under the censorship hammer. Which makes me very angry indeed.

What other website contained so much bile towards Sue, Alison et al at the Radio Times? They said they would update the article as and when - not much chance of that now is there? How come all the good ones die so young? (continues on with bleary-eyed nostalgia (already) about how good the site was when, clearly, it was never THAT good)

But can you remember anything that was actually offensive/unfair in the site?

Me neither. So I don't understand.

Some people can't see the funny side to everything, like you can Jon. Mostly comedians, it seems...

Perhaps TV sued them over all the 'it was better on the radio' jibes

It was better in the music halls anyway.

can't they host it on a secret server? Like is done with drug pedling sites?

Why? I thought the point of the Corpses was to change things for the better, not just whinge and whine about everyone else in the industry.

Still, it's not a bad idea. Then they could sell drugs on the side and make a bit of cash, as well as pushing back the boundaries of etc, etc.

Thank God! I've been writing too, in a rather twisted fashion. Like the Mr Men books, but scarier! Remember, work is the way 'The Man' keeps us down! Vive La Revolution!

Hello again Suii. I've just finished a sitcom for radio, well I've done the out-line. I've been reading the sitcoms at the SitsVac site but they aren't very good (actually they're mostly shite.)

Why did they take the site down? 5 gets you 10 it was "Out of The Trees" copyright dispute. Not a funny enough script to bother about, IMHO.
Also, I just sold a 2-page article for a webzine. Yay.
