Will there be another big franchise auction? Because what the ITC appear to be doing at the moment is giving the franchises to the status quo providing they accept the financial terms which the ITC lays down. Is it just me or is this not fair. This seems to me to be yet another green light that money can out rule quality, see Carlton. Still I live in hope that the Communication White Paper to be published in the autumn will fix this. But does anybody know when there will be another franchise auction?
