Yes, we all are.
Ying tong iddle i parrot!
Why has comedy dumbed down so much since those days?
It has to pitch for a younger, less intelligent audience, obsessed with male genitals.
>Yes, we all are.
Silly question, really, now I come to think of it...
>Why has comedy dumbed down so much since those days?
It certainly has changed beyond recognition, because it appeals to such a different audience. But I haven't seen anything I would call classic comedy in the last five years!
>Ying tong iddle i parrot!
I'm walking backwards for spam!
>It has to pitch for a younger, less intelligent audience, obsessed with male genitals.
Where can I get hold of some of this illustrative stuff?
Don't you have enough already?

Well you see Jon I'm in a Catch 22 position. I am using this comedy aimed at young, lacking in intelligent cock hunters as an escapism to divert my attentions away from the stressful realisation that I am in fact young, lacking in intelligence and obsessed by the cicumference of the male genital. It's a vicious circle.
Nice circumference/ circle gag!
It's still my contention that the most sophisticated comedy today is on Cartoon Network, which is appropriate since the Goons was a kind of radio cartoon.

I agree, though the best are now on terrestrial channels as well, e.g. Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory.
But not Rocko's Modern Life.
Johnny Bravo isn't funny.
Except for the one Twilight Zone episode with the clowns, they miss the point by... ohh... aobut a mile.
Sheep In The Big City was good, but no, the viewers opted to have one more "Johnny-hilariously-falls-over" episode rather than a marvelous cartoon which had as many laughs as i've had...
...well, things. That I've had lots of.
Don't bother adding any more to this thread unless you're going to express an opinion about the "Out Of The Trees" situation.

"Murder, She Wrote In The Wrong Thread"?
"Murder, She Should Have Been Victim Of"
>Nice circumference/ circle gag!
Sam you and me have an intimate understanding of one another.
I don't understand.
Me neither
