Wasn't it lucky that Danny Wallace just so happened to be in the room when Dave Gorman heard that good news from the Perrier panel?

And also lucky that he managed to bump into some vox pops who were amazed that Ross Noble and Autoboosh weren't nominated.

I'm more worried about Tony Slattery, though - what's happened to his voice?

Heard a trail for this on Radio 4 a few mornings ago, and the announcer said of the title, "You have to see it written down, if you know what I mean."

Useless title, in that case, isn't it?

Yeah, that struck me during the short bit I managd to hear of Thursday's show. If he hadn't been announced, I'd never have known it was him.

Which might have been better.
