The interviewer was Paul Jackson, Head of Comedy at the BBC or something like that.
Speaking of Paul Jackson, did anyone see him in Operation Good Guys a few weeks ago being attacked by a dwarf? Or did I dream it?
Those interviews are repeats.
I was in the audience for the one where Jackson interviewed Graeme Garden / Tim Brooke Taylor and (in the same session) Phill Jupitus (who stepped in at the last minute for Dave Allen who had to attend a funeral). Jupitus went down very well despite the audience being full of pensioners. The phrase 'wasn't that young man on the Big Breakfast' dear?' was heard across the room a few times. He insisted on taking a photo of the audience at the end for his 'collection' (something he does a lot apparently). Jackson sat in on the picture. So somewhere in his photo album, Jupitus has a picture of a mass of zimmer-frames, the controller of BBC Light Entertainment and one of the Corpses (and a female acquaintance) making little pointy finger-horn signs behind his head.
The show was produced by Jo Clegg who apparently brought her copy of The Goodies File along to be signed. Shame she's not controller of BBC2. We might get some repeats.
Actually, the other story we heard was that she became disillusioned with Jackson, Perkins et al over a proposed Nualas TV transfer, left the BBC and has gone freelance. She was also series producer of The 11 O'Clock Show for a bit.

Jo did go freelance. I know this because I helped her a little with her research for the TBT/GG interview. A week or so before the interview, her BBC e-mail stopped working and I got an automated message that she had gone freelance.
She seemed like a nice enough person.
