Phrased and Confused? Posted Tue Aug 15 18:18:16 BST 2000 by Paul

Oh God! Is it just me that cringes when I am unlucky enough to hear that bloody awful Sara Cox Breakfast Show when that out of place twat, Rajesh Whatisface says something like "Why are you singing?" or "Why are we still on the breakfast show?" It never seems to be realised by Sara Cox or anyone on that show that the "other person" they are so "cleverly" trying to trap into saying their oh so funny phrase, actually is probably listening to the radio!!!! Some of them are so obvious it is just pathetic radio!! Why are these two morons still going on that show? Why doesn't that Rajesh bloke actually realise he is like a square peg in a round hole??????? What do others think???
Surely the BBC must replace this failed crap?

...sorry - whinge over. Thats better!!!

Listening figures are higher than they were for Chris Evans.

No. You are not alone.

It's bloody awful and obviously set-up.
I mean, if you were to phone or write (or whatever you do) to play, so that you could win a prize, would you honestly be prepared to run the risk of humiliating yourself on national radio and getting no material compensation for your effort?
No.

I've stopped listening to Radio One in the morning.

Utter shite.

I went to school with her.

Her 'dead' father is in fact still alive.

You're not alone, the feature is shit as is the rest of the show. I decided to tune out
when I found myself shouting 'Shut the F*ck up, you stupid bint!!' at the radio.

Try R4. It's often funnier. Except in times of war.

What the UK needs is a breakfast show without any irritating presenters that is funny and plays good music.

It'll never happen.

They should have given it to Chris Morris, or Lee and Herring.

That wouldn't work.

The masses like the 'Ibeeeeefa!' approach to broadcasting.

Hey Mike - I think our arguments might be sinking in.

Come on forumpersons, follow the logic. 'The masses' are basically what SOTCAA has referred to as 'the plebs'. Lee and Herring / Chris Morris are considered too intelligent for such an audience. 'The 11 O'Clock Show' is considered ideal plebfodder. Doesn't matter that some intelligent people might enjoy the latter - it's still designed in such a way as to attract twats.

'Halfway between Iain Lee and Ibiza'. There, you'll find the little island of Time Gentlemen Please filled with those who pursue the hedonistic lifestyle, pour beer over their heads, show their tits to camera as if it's the funniest thing in the world, and of course require the simplest character traits in a sitcom explained to them beforehand.

Stir it up, little darling...
