Sites which failed.

Has anyone ever tried to build a web site and found that it all went wrong? I had a go at one but it failed. I had a lovely moving gif of Ann Widdecombe but when I tried to upload it I found that it was 2MB (far too big.) Anyway, here's something that I had a go at but abandoned. I wish I'd finished the Zoe Ball page but I got bored with it.
Has anyone else a site which went wrong? Or even one that looks good. Here's mine, it's not very good. No HTML skills:

Not mine, but does anyone know what happened to the Weekly? www.theweekly.co.uk
Pretty damn amusing in places: "Scientists Genetically Modify Mink To Grow Fake Fur"
Basically a British Onion, but still better than ... no, let's not mention it.
I also found ClickMango.com pretty funny for it's obvious hopelessness.

Um, The Weekly was supposed to "be back soon". I'm still waiting.
Still waiting.
Still waiting.
Though someone who works with Nash and contributed to one of the articles (see if you can spot a S. Hobbs in the credits, peeps!) keeps swearing it'll be uploaded "next week. Gosh!"
Bunch of lazy publishing slags.
