Dave Gorman slags off Simon Munnery

I was listening to Front Row today and caught an interview with Gorman about his new and innovative Edinburgh show. It was looked at focusing on the technological advances of shows revealing the awe inducing fact that his uses the internet and a mobile phone.
During the run of the mill PR proceedings he was asked what he thought about shows using technology and he complimented the guys doing 'Puppetry of the Penis' because their use of a camera and screen projection was 'necessary' but added that if someone just added the use of one as a gimmick, just 'pointing the camera at their face' then it was a bit 'excessive'.
Aren't comedy wars beautiful to see in action?

No but the implications were very clear.
Hey, it's not like I enjoy stirring up trouble or anything...

The camera/projection thing is a big part of Munnery's show though (it was last year, anyway). Without that particular gimmick, the show would've been far less interesting. In fact, the majority of laughs came from things he did with the cameraswordthing, so that's justification enough for such gadgetry in a comedy show.

Hey, you tell that to Gorman Matt.
He would most likely listen to you if you said your name was in fact Dave Gorman. He has a fettish for people of the same name as he - a psychological expansion of the love he has for himself - which he is cleverly disgusing as a show!
I have an idea; email him, say your name is Dave Gorman and say you're from a really obscure part of the world like Bangkok. No doubt he'll have hours of fun with that little epithet.
