At the risk of sounding horrendously crawly, I'd like to second that. And praise all the forum regulars, too.
I wondered when someone would set up something like this. Everyone enjoys a bit of negative bickering, but the net would be so dull without this page, which actually treats its reader as intelligent. Which, of course, we are.
>Say what you like about them, there is really nowehere else on the web where you can discuss the present whereabouts of Alex Langdon, Gian Sammarco, or the cast of "Your Mother Wouldn't Like It". So I say 3 cheers to the men that made it all possible!!!

I agree that the Corpses deserve praise, but the reasons as given above really don't contribute a strong argument for them.

You're just trying to bait Jon again aren't you!?
Sam sweetheart, I appreciate your concern for mine and Jon's animosity but to be quite honest I didn't even realise it was he who wrote it.
Hats off - the edit news section is phenomenal, the comment section has some corkers, and most people on the forum seem good eggs.
Don't agree on certain issues, but would you want me to?
I'm sure if we had a whip round we could raise enough to buy them all a lovely hat to share.

Dagnabbit! I thought it was fighting talk.
It is obviously far better if people don't agree with everything They say, and I'd say in some (many/most) cases it was the whole point. What would be the point in us all posting "hear, hear" ad infinitum?
Room 101 is irritating because of the need to agree. A celebrity goes on and says "I don't like X" and the audience either cheer or gasp incredulously that someone cannot like X. Fair enough, the point of the programme. But why should Merton then saying "I agree, X should go into Room 101" cause applause from the audience? Is it somehow justifying your dislike for (for example) Jeffrey Archer if not only Kathy Burke doesn't like him, but Paul Merton agrees?
Being pleased that you share an opinion is good. Patting yourself on the back because you share an opinion with a 'celebrity'is barmy. Thought provoking discussion with someone of a different opinion is good. Calling someone a "twat" for disagreeing with you is bad (but funny)...
Personally I like the both the agreements and the bickering that go on, and the whole bloody thing makes me laugh a lot.
Sorry for wasting everyones' time. Again.
>Is it somehow justifying your dislike for (for example) Jeffrey Archer
Surely that is an example which requires no justification?
