He's a Doctor whose son is a Police Inspectory person, and helps him solve moidaaahs. Not keen on Van Dyke Jrs hair in todays ep. though. He looks much better as a blond cop.

What kind of Diagnosis is murder anyway? That's not a diagnosis, that just an obvious statement! no one says "I diagnose this person has died from murder". Unless their name is Barry Van Dyke, anyway.
