I stopped listening when Tony and Jullie really buggered it up. Alex Trellinski used to do the late show up in Yorkshire didn't he. I listened to him on summer sport on BBC Radio Leicester, and he was good. I may well start listening again.

So Alex has done this sort of thing before then?

If anybody is interested,T&J are currently doing Drivetime on BBC WM & Cov/Warks, subbing for Annie Othen for a few weeks at least. (Anyone know where she is?)

Tony is also programme editor for both stations, according to the BBC WM web site.
Was this the job he used to do before?
Does anyone what's happened to Simon Lederman?
I think he used to be programme editor as well, & also used to sub for various presenters on WM, including T&J, normally paired up with WM's Breakfast travel person, the extremely gorgeous Cayte Walker(Yes I do possess a signed photo as well).
I was actually on stage with the WM breakfast team at last year's Sandwell Show, taking part in a competition. I came last, but got a Paul Franks T-shirt, & a peck on the cheek from Ms Walker!

95.6 FM BBC WM / 94.8, 103.7 & 104FM BBC C&W
if anyone's remotely interested between 4 & 6, continuing until 7 on WM only.

Do people who leave the late show always go on to that spot. Gordan Astley did. He got me interested in the show. I think he's the best so far. Any news on what hes doing at the moment?

Gordon is currently in America, with his wife(Is it still Femi Oke, because I saw her doing CNN Weather, & that got me searching the web, to see what he was up to!)

Do any US readers know exactly what he's doing?
Or is he being a kept man !!!

By the way, Chris Ashley is currently filling in on Drivetime while T&J are away for 2 weeks.

Does this bloke ever sleep?

BBC Shropshire 9am till 12pm, then WM 4 till 7, Monday to Friday, WM Saturday Breakfast 6 till 9, then Talk Sport Saturday & Sunday overnights, then back to Shrewsbury on Monday.
He's in his mid 50's. He must have some stamina!

STOP PRESS !!!

According to the Media UK radio forum, ' Gordon Astley' is doing mid morning weekend on BBC Northampton, but he's after a weekday gig "anywhere"

Anybody in BBC Northampton land know anymore?

Also, is Lee Stone still doing Saturday Breakfast on BBC Northampton, because he's currently subbing on BBC WM/C&W 2 to 4 weekday pm, while Carl Chinn's on holiday!
