Nick Hancock

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: he was really funny on the radio version of Room 101. And his Guardian Questionnaire yesterday gave us a glimpse of the fact that there might still be some kind of imagination and wit inside him, somewhere.
You Only Live Once, though, was pitiful. Did anyone else notice how Hancock delivered smug, point-scoring Graham-esque oneliners at Mo Mowlam, but clearly looked uncomfortable even while speaking them. His smiles were about as false as they come.
I switched over long before he would've attempted some gag about Mowlam's cancer treatment. Did They Think It's All Over's writers have a hand in this tosh? Did anyone else get to the end of it?

sorry, I meant "might have" - maybe they didn't. But the standard of humour was heading that way - a bit about her alcoholic father was followed straight away by "And I gather you liked getting pissed as a teenager".
Hilarious...
