head on comedy thing Posted Fri Jul 28 10:54:29 BST 2000 by mk

(from Dr. Hackenbush on the 'L&H hm' thread)
>It's not a matter of enthusiasm - the world is run by clueless, self-promoting suits >because those are the sort of people who rise to the top of almost any organisation

Thats the most succinct observation I've seen for some time Dr H!
My boss, who was on 4K more than me, is now on 14K more than me, purely for being a suit wearing, arse licking, jargon spewing, psion-using bullshit merchant.

..and there was me actually learning usefull things at college because I thought *that* was how you got a job! I didnt know there was a course on waffling your way to the top! (the git has a degree a psychology apparently) and this qualifies him to head a technical support team and get paid double what the technically qualified people do. wanker.

which brings me to the topic... (i just had to get that of my chest)
that comedy debate thing (about therapy) last night with jo brand was quite good I thought. Mainly because Bill Bailey was on it.
what did u lot think?

thankyou, I feel better already actually having insulted my boss in public and (hopefully) behind his back.
which kind of proves Patirck keilty's (was it?) side of the debate on that program.
