Saturday lunchtime radio

Hi all. You can't believe what a relief it is to find another group of people who, like me, can't understand the endless praise heaped on "Dead Ringers."
The trouble is, when you're in the car at 12.30 on a Saturday, and it comes on, as I prefer speech based radio to music, I stick Radio 5 on, and what do I find there? The fucking Treatment, with Stuart Maconie being about as funny as having your kneecap removed with a Philips screwdriver.

Well Tim, it's clear you still know how to dish out unrelenting and unflinching radio criticism!

I'd actually defend "Dead Ringers" as somewhere above the average, although the repetition's starting to set in now. But you're right, the "positive publicity" is clearly heading way out of proportion.
