Stuart Hall & Bill Grundy

Anyone recall an early 80s vehicle for these two - possibly only shown in the North West? It was called 'Chalk & Cheese' or something similiar - the basic premise, if I remember rightly, was that they'd adopt diametric ideological positions on various themes (music, art, politics) and they argue about them for half-an-hour. With possibly some filmed inserts. Crunchy synth theme. Low budget.

No, but I do remember in the early 1990s Stuart Hall was teamed with the mighty Bob Greaves on some regional masterpiece.
Personally, I always preferred when Stuart Hall was on Look NorthWest, and every Christmas he used to set off in an open top bus to the strains of that orchestral version of 'Sleigh Ride', dressed as Father Christmas and collecting canned food from schools or something.
If anyone can understand what I'm talking about, well done
