I thought that was OK too. Never saw him on The 11 O'clock show as I couldn't bring myself to watch it more than once and a half. What sort of stuff did he do on that then?

I was subjected to viewing the 11 O'clock Show in Halls...
I found him to be quite amusing. Offensive (which was the obvious idea) but funny with it!
He would talk about 'topical' issues passionately, with complete political incorrectness.
My memory is crap, so I can't remember specifics, but I did laugh at his 'top-tip' for drug users, which was to re-use needles as they "don't grown on trees."
Well it was funny at the time! :0)
I reckon him and Ali G. were the only things keeping that show in the ratings...
Am I right in thinking he was in "This Life" last night, playing a bloke called Seb?
It sounded like him, and looked a bit like him too (I wasn't paying much attention.) He was played by a guy called Danny Midwinter. Is this "that cunt Gervais"?
He was possibly the only remotely funny item on 11OCS.
Gervais is doing a series for BBC2 which is called 'The Office' - I've seen the pilot and it's quality. He's also just got a C4 late night show to be aired on Fridays.
He also "plays" a work experience kid on Sara Cox's Radio One breakfast show. He'll be on tomorrow.
