What exactly do you NEED it for?

In the case of my site it's partly material I've researched and discovered myself, and partly material I've swapped with other collectors.

So why not look at the fruits of my work....

As if it's any of your business.

If you must know it is just to fulfil my need to see nostalgic stuff. I get cravings for TV nostalgia, and at the moment i need a fix.

It's a crap way of explaining it, but there you go. Just like many of you i get pleasure from seeing old idents/clocks etc. Loads of pleasure. Where the hell is the pain?

try asking relatives if they have any tapes that they haven't used for years and look on them for idents and things. I found an HTV clock, production slides and idents on one tape that I borrowed from my Grandad. There was also an old Top Of The Pops on there with the 1985 BBC COW.
