I have to admit Mr Bromley that I did find it very offensive. I can't remember what you wrote or the subject you wrote on but I do know it shocked me and has probably ruined my life. Until your postings the wife and I had shared an equal and happy relationship: but no more. I can't even begin to understand the type of mind which could conceive of writing such abuse (if it was abusive)and I can only hope that you will not do so again. I believe everybody (well not 'everybody') should be given a second chance; of if not a second chance, then a damn good thrashing. I accept your apology and think it only right and fair that you compensate me with a ridiculously large financial payment.

I dont think this should be made light of.Making any comment good or bad under someone elses name is wrong.The trouble with this new medium of communication is the hit and run aspect of it,the anonymity,the fact you can make up any old shit about someone and it pops up on sites like this and some people will take it as truth.Its very unsettling.

The problem is not anonymous forums, but the fact that people are so frigging gullible about things they see "on der internet".

I know for certain that there is at least one other dishonest person who should add an apology to this thread...
