Stan and Ollie Posted Wed Jun 28 00:23:08 BST 2000 by Hard boiled eggs and nuts indeed!

Why are these Gods hardly on telly these days?I met a young barber cutting my hair who had never heard of them ! Can you believe it?I understand Virgin bought the rights in the late eighties and veto them being shown on the tv so they can shift their bleedin colorised videos nicely. They also took Bill Cubin ,curator of their museum in Alveston,to court because he used to post off the odd tape out to fans that hed recorded off BBC 2 and only charged them for the cassette and p+p.Apparently it bankrupted the poor sod.So does anyone know what the score is or is it that the powers that be, think L +H are just not "cool" for Yoof these days.

I thought they hadnt been on telly for a while....
That explains it. on the other hand, Harold Lloyd used to be on of a sat morning also and I aint seen him for years. Nowadays we get the 3 stooges quite frequently (i'd never seen them in action till the last year or so)
