Who's your favourite legal affairs correspondent? Posted Mon Jun 26 10:46:58 BST 2000 by Jon

I say it has to be Joshua Rosenberg.

Incidentally, have you noticed that BBC News has a 'North of England Correspondent'? Has anyone ever seen their 'South of England Correspondent'? Wonder why not, eh...?

Presumably because London-based correspondants can easilly cover stuff in the South of England. Most of the national news is often based in the south east as London is the capital.

There is a South of England correspondent. Robert Hall used to hold the post.

Problem is, "The North" for the BBC seems to start at Cambridge. Someone should tell the Beeb that the North starts around about the line linking Stoke to Newark (and even that's pushing it a bit too far south for me...)

I'm surprised no one's spoken up for Marcel Berlins.
