Didn't they used to be on something called "Wake Up London" on ITV, late 80s. No idea what they were like as I didn't live here then.
Also, I used to get them mixed up with The Oblivion Boys (Arden & Frost). Which is very stupid, as they have a different name.
I think first it was Wake Up London then it went national as just Wake Up. I thought they were called the Vicious Brothers and a few times they were replaced by The Vicious Sisters.
They were on Ghost Train as well I think. And I'm probably getting confused with someone else by this point but I think one of them (or at least someone on Ghost Train) looked like Adam Buxton out of Adam & Joe.

Speaking of whom, didn't they do a series around 1990, playing 2 detectives? Not very good, I seem to remember.

Lazarus & Dingwall - if I remember rightly, written by Kim Fuller, midway in his decline from Three Of A Kind to Miami 7. (Brother Simon is...oh, you knew.)
Lazarus & Dingwall was never that bad, just smug.
Didn't The Vicious Boys introduce The Smiths on The Tube or is that someone else?
Probably Jools Holland.
I remember a similar act called "the dangerous brothers" i think..
The Dangerous Brothers were Ade Edmunson and Rick Mayall.

Nope, I have a video of The Smiths on The Tube(83) for my sins. I'm certain it's The Vicious Boys.
