YOU CAN'T FAULT HTV. HARDLY ANY NETWORKED SHOWS FOR YEARS, CRAP REGIONAL PROGRAMMES, BUT YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THEM.

But wouldn't HTV be even better if the aerial ident came back with the waterfall theme!

And the white on blue clock with the wobbly second hand should come back too.

There is a brilliant site about HTV at www.hhg.org.uk. Apparently there's a major update coming soon.

Anyone ever see 'Children Of the Stones'? Blake's 7's Gareth Thomas, lots of flares. That was HTV and was great. The Children's Channel rpt in 1991 even included the HTV logo. Bless 'em.

Ollie the Owl - Annie St John

Just worked this out -- spooky -- both Annie St John and Mr & Mrs were based at HTV, Border, and Tyne Tees at various points in their lives.

The clock with the wobbly second-hand -- weren't they great? Ah, but did HTV's turn a yucky shade of beige when they tried to make it the same colour as their flash new computerised ident...?

And HTV started them both! (Well, Mr & Mrs was started by TWW but that sort of counts..!)

WE ALL LOVE HTV

You have to give it them at the moment (especially Wales) they have a very good coporate image with everything in the same styling (dark blue hearts theme.)

They have set an example for everyone to follow!!!!

Keep up the good work.

I agree - I don't particularly like the hearts - but at least it all matches. The other companies seem to holding on to their old corporate image on the Production captions as a last stand, giving two fingers to the hearts!

Its better than those hearts and stars that bloody CARLTON use!!!
When are we going to see the other break bumpers apart frpm the splash one?

I happen to like the Carlton idents - I wish they hadn't been made by carlton cos they are an evil bad bad bad company, but as idents, I like them - I didn't know there were any other bumpers, but a change would be nice please, ITV. As to HTV, I like their image as much as I can bring myself to like the bloody hearts thing! The HTV logo on the corporate trailers is good, but I don't like the bumper, I think the HTV logo is too big.

As a station, it's better than my native Central region though (even before they were replaced)
