Does anybody else like the treatment on radio5? flies in the face of your "all topical comedy is shite" mindset, corpses.

I've only heard it once, but the bit with William Hague as the Gladiator from, er, Gladiator reminded me of the fake topical comedy from an episode of On The Hour. So, you know, go figure.

I think it is OK, though I never listen unless I'm in the car, and even then, I usually listen to Chris Moyles. Having said that, it can be funny sometimes, though other times it is sub-weekending. Some of the topics can be interesting, but I hate that bloody Derek @robbo' Robson.

Best one ever that I heard was the one that came from Belfast (1995 I think) and on the panel were Kevin Day, Patrick Kielty and others. Can't remember the rest, but I do have it on tape. The sketches were done by Stephen Tompkinson and some woman.

no. Stephen Tomkinson from Ballykissangel. It was around the time he was filming 'Brassed Off' as he had a very short haircut.
