As was Felicity Montagu, years before the brilliant/not very good/somewhere in between I'm Alan Partridge. She also kept appearing in Who Dares Wins.

Yes and yes. I also saw some of the later shows being recorded including 'The Columbus Special' which actually turned out to be 'The State of the Nation Special' as they reckoned putting the correct title on the tickets would put people off coming along to the show, no chance.
