You want a reason why R1 stopped doing comedy? I would suggest this was it - a parody of a music paper written by Johnny Cigarettes and Richard "I'll write additional material for any show whatsoever, I have no quality control on my career" Easter. But what was it called? Had "Z" in the title, lasted a few shows round about 1996. Anyway, a bit like Thrills in the NME. And about as good.
