Reg Varney

Could the Corpses, or anybody for that matter, perhaps give a critical analysis of 'On The Buses' or 'The Rag Trade'- the sitcoms which starred Reg Varney ?
I have never seen any of them, but I am interested as R. Varney is my great uncle, and would like to know more about the programmes.
I would be very interested to know whether they were any good, or a load of old crap
THANKYOU
Jonathan

'Holiday On The Buses' was really good, and not only for the vast amount of bikini'ed up laydeez! It's a shame some of todays 'comedy' can't match up.

Nope subbes, not a bit. I find 'On The Buses' funny because Stevie B was a bus driver and many of their escapades mirror mon peres own working life. The laydeez are just a nice extra.

I remember Reg Varney appearing as a guest on Wogan in the 80's, with some of his own paintings. I can't remember if they were any good or not....
