Which rubbish advert do you mean, the one with him telling a man turn his lights off, or the one with him frightening some school-kids?

the one with him telling a man to turn his lights off.

I assume as the resident 'lamarr expert' this is supposed to be some form of provocation for me. (see earlier thread...)
However, I have seen worse adverts and so have you.

It's not bad. At least he hasn't gone cheesy or taken on a facade.

Oh c'mon... What about 'Chicken Tonight.'
Nothing has ever put me off chicken more than those adverts...

Wow. I've reached biblical importance.

Surely the real issue is Dominic Holland's advert, the one where he is a naked chef? It's rubbish. And so is he.

Dunno about 'worst', but it's one of the most sanctimonious I've ever seen.

To be honest, Lamarr's been damned lucky these last few years - just because he was the least worst presenter on The Word....

'Least worse presenter on The Word'...

Yes, it's an interesting route to fame, being the best thing on a shit show... I suppose we should refer to it as 'The Ali G Syndrome'.

Then again he was also the worst thing on a good show - 'Shooting Stars'.

In fact, thinking about it, he had his own show recently and he was the worst thing on that too.

But it's not a profitable capitalist advert is it? He's using his fame to bring attention to global warming. Which isn't a bad thing is it?

Unlike Domminic Holland selling out? But why? The guy is understatedly very very funny. Why the need to be naked and sell lemon drinks?

Why the need for him to be naked EVER.

Domminic Holland - surely the funniest comedian on Channel 5.
