Brass Eye set designs Posted Fri May 12 11:35:40 BST 2000 by The Corpses

The Brass Eye set designer has his own website featuring some great exclusive photographs. It includes a much clearer Sutcliffe pic and a shot of the 'Mike Fox elephant' session reminiscent of an old Look-In annual.

He also designed the sets for loads of other comedy shows, and there's photos from those too.

Does everyone who works with Morris fawn at his feet?

Just asking.

It's the gushing remarks on said site which I'm referring to. And what's mentioned in the Jam article, here on the site.

I'm happy to believe he is a nice guy. I don't know.

it's not that gushing, mr/mrs halo. it mainly says that he was an inspiration, which anyone at the centre of a show ought to be, innit? and he's obviously quite an imaginative fellow, which no doubt kept everyone smiling.

and he brought an elephant into the studio which (lulu on blue peter ad nauseam) always makes techies laugh, because animals actually shit all over studio floors without even a sliver of compunction.

frankly, the elephant link in brass eye looked like an excuse to get an elephant into the studio, so i can't help but like him. i'm sure if i'd worked with him, i'd be at least slightly awed.

that said, the 20ft ostrich head is a bit wicker man...
