Sean Lock Posted Sun May 7 10:36:24 BST 2000 by Ailie

Anyone seen Sean live?
I'm going to go see him in Brighton and wondered what other people have thought.

The impression that I get is that it'll be a wicked show, as what I've seen on telly has been very sharp.

Comments, anyone?

Hi Ailie

I saw him during the Comic Relief -Debt Wish Live show and thought he was good - are his tour dates posted up anywhere as I'd be interested to see if he's coming anywhere near here (Cheltenham)

ta... :o)

I'm going to a show as part of the Brighton Festival, so I don't know if there are further dates... I know for sure that he doesn't have a website, but I *think* his management people are Off The Kerb, whose number is (new London prefix):

02077004477

You could always try giving them a call...

Hope this helps : )

I saw him at the 1993 Edinburgh Festival, supporting Bill Bailey's old double act The Rubber Bishops. I was with a fairly right-on bunch of students, and he did a routine about lesbians not catching AIDS, and what would be an illness that would affect lesbians... we didn't walk-out, but righteous indignation filled the rest of the evening. I was surprised when he turned up on that Newman/Baddiel series later. Anyway, that's my recollections of seeing his act.
