According to Ch4, 'Brass Eye' is being re-cut into three compilations to be aired 11-25 May (Thurs, 11pm). The series cannot be re-run in full for legal reasons.

Morris told us a month or so back that 'Sutcliffe' would be included in these broadcasts (which is only a 'taste' worry rather than a subject of political censure), and - as far as David Cann is concerned - the show will be billed 'Brass Eye Uncut'. Which further confuses things.

As ever, don't shoot the messenger if this is balls.

Odd that a bootleg tape of Brass Eye out-takes and unused material has never surfaced. I remember being told at the time (by someone who knew someone, etc) that there was a great deal of excellent material that never made it to the screen - much of it consisting of the fake interviews with celebrities. Obviously this must have included the famous footage where Noel Edmonds realised that he was being had, and lost his rag...
