Anybody here remember a late-70's BBC drama for children - same era as EBC1 - about children and statues. It is NOT "Children of the Stones" I am thinking of - I have seen that recently.

It may have been adapted from a novel by E. Nesbitt, as so many of them were (The Silver Trumpet springs to mind) and it was about a bunch of schoolkids in the 1920's who go to stay at a stately home.

In the grounds of this edifice are a maze and a temple, and various ornamental statues. One night, in the moonlight, all the statues come to life and speak to the kids. The statues invite them to step into their statue world, and convert them into stone. Then they change back again, and that's pretty much it. Not a lot happens - it starts off spooky and then becomes magical.

Anybody know what that was called....?
