There's an American CD out called 'Dead Parrot Society'. It features tracks from the world's worst orchestra as well as from the Amnesty galas and Private Eye flexidiscs. Well worth seeking out.

Squidy, I have this album and it is indeed very good. Classical masacre is a treat.

I remember the single Classical Mudley (I think my brother even bought it). I didn't remember how good it was until I went to a pub recently that was playing the same four tracks from Hooked On Classics repeatedly for over two hours.

The Portsmouth Sinfonia appeared on a Brian Eno album in the early 70s - I forget which... possibly Taking Tiger Mountain.
