If she's who I think she is I agree (one of their news team?) However, my personal fave TV lady is BBC Breakfast News (RIP) Sophie Raworth. Goddess!
With you all the way on Sophie Raworth, Al. She used to rock my world (in the days when I could be arsed watching TV in the mornings).

She was one of the only motivational factors for me getting to work in the morning at all. I don't know how I'll manage to get up without her. (Obvious sexual double entendres ahoy.) But I hear she will be anchoring the new Breakfast programme when it arrives. Let's just hope they've kept Jon Nicholson and Tanya Beckett on board...

Who? Tanya James? BTW the C5 presenter I was thinking of was Andrea Catherwood. She's lovely.
While we're on the subject of TV fanny, I'm sorry I'll rephrase that, our favourite female presenters, does anyone else here fondly recall Anita Macnaught from BBC 2's "Open Minds". This show was a kind of "Hey isn't adult education fuuuuuuun!" thing cobbled together from old Open University clips and shown on Saturday mornings. The clips were interspersed with Anita and some tiny little man - who tried to act her equal but just came over as a sort of idiot son (not that I'm jealous) - striking poses in urban landscapes and talking a lot about the Internet and how sodding marvellous the Romans were. The best thing about Anita was her quirky "fear my intelligence" Servalan hairdo.
I think she's been mentioned before. Didn't she do some show about computers?
She used to do some of the overnight shifts on BBC News 24/BBC World as well.
And, yes, scary haircut too.
Channel 4: Tanya Sillem.
Gorgeously asymmetrical. Mmmm.
And, of course, Aleks Bits.
Tanya Sillem - another graduate of the babe factory that is BBC Breakfast news - I had a *huge* crush on her! She's on C4 news now, I think, but you don't see her very often any more. Well, this thread has now become a general news presenter lust fest. Tanya Beckett anyone?
I've got to say it, but...
Anna Ford.
