1. The 'Kevin Turvey' monologues, performed by Rik Mayall for the BBC2 series A Kick Up The Eighties (21/9/81 - 24/1/84) were compiled into a 40-minute video released in 1990. A year later, Kevin Turvey: The Man Behind The Green Door (13/9/82) was issued on a separate cassette, and presented in a longer edit (running at 40 minutes rather than 30). The latter video was released following the success of Bottom in 1991, and both tapes gave viewers a chance to view material which would normally have been deemed too obscure for commercial release. (Arguably, the video release of the Dangerous Brothers material from Saturday Live was also only an option for BBC Enterprises due to the success of Bottom.)
